Offering support to individuals and families affected by or experiencing problematic alcohol use in North Tyneside

This service is delivered at Meadow Well Connected and other community settings.

Our aims are:-

  • Support and advice around alcohol misuse and its effects.

  • Alcohol awareness, education and support towards a reduction plan.

  • Referral to other agencies for specific support.

  • Support with routes to work, through volunteering, training and other projects.

Recovery Cafe session available at Meadow Well Connected Centre on Friday mornings - this is a peer-led mutual support group and is open to anyone whether they are engaging with our PAUSE project or not. Online sessions are available.
