#Never is an Drugs Insights project for young people in North Tyneside.
Across the last 6 months, we have been working with young people, schools and youth organisations to talk about and learn about drugs.
Through a range of creative experiences, a series of artworks has been created showcasing their knowledge and insights to raise awareness around drug use in the borough.
Join us and enjoy being able to engage in music, spoken word, graphic art, animation and much more. With all artwork being made with North Tyneside young people and artists for young people.
The work highlights young people’s knowledge of what drugs are available, potential pipelines and the effects drugs use can have both on the individual and family/friends around them.
We invite you to get involved and interact with this educational experience. Open to schools, youth groups, community organisations and families with teens.

The experience is expected to last 90 minutes and is free to access at various bookable slots from Tuesday 30 April – Thursday 2 May 2024 including evening slots for your groups.
It will take place at Helix Arts, North Tyneside Business Centre, 54a Saville St, North Shields NE30 1NT.
While the experience is appropriate for ages 13 and above, due to content we would advise young people from aged 14 upwards to access the experience. This experience is a great starting point for conversations around substance use or for targeted intervention with young people who you feel may benefit.
