Come and try archery with the Bowmen of Backworth.
Throughout the nicer parts of the year, we run several events where you can try shooting a bow and arrow. Anyone can take part regardless of age, impairment or experience. We provide all necessary equipment and guidance, though you may wish to bring footwear suitable for a grassy field.
Our events in 2026 are on these Saturdays between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM:
- 11th of April
- 6th of June
- 1st of August
Booking is not required. Just come to Backworth Hall between those times and follow the signs to our archery range.
Please note that we can only accept cash, and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
