Social care services support people who need help with daily living tasks because of an illness, disability, or health condition. Social care services can support with things like Personal care, Getting dressed, Preparing meals, Eating and drinking, Getting out and about.

My Care includes more information about how to stay active and independent, and the support available locally to do this. You can find out about the criteria for support from the council, and how to request an assessment of your needs. If you are worried about an older or disabled adult’s safety or wellbeing, you can raise concerns via My Care too.
