We are the BOWMEN OF BACKWORTH, a section of Backworth Miners’ Welfare and shoot on a field within Backworth Hall and Park (NE27 0AH). We are a recreational Archery club and give a warm, friendly welcome to all into the sport of Archery, through our Beginners’ courses.
We cater for able-bodied and impaired archers.
We shall again be holding our monthly FREE Have-a-Go Archery sessions on our field at Backworth Miners’ Welfare starting on the first Saturday of April between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
The sessions will repeat every FIRST Saturday of the month until September. Everyone welcome and all equipment, help and instruction is provided. So, come and try our sport.
