We are the Bowmen of Backworth, a recreational archery club located at Backworth Hall and Park (NE27 0AH).
We give a warm, friendly welcome to all into the sport of archery through our beginners’ courses and Have-a-Go days
We cater for able-bodied and impaired archers.
Throughout spring and summer we hold monthly Have-a-Go archery sessions on our field at Backworth Hall.
The events start on the first Saturday of April between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM and repeat on May, July and September.
Everyone is welcome and all equipment, help and instruction is provided. So, come and try our sport.
