Safe and Healthy Homes Advice Services

Safe and Healthy Homes provide advice and information to residents who either own their property or live in private rented property.

We provide a free advice and information service to residents on hazards in the property that can have a detrimental impact on their health. These hazards can include

• Damp/Mould

• Slips/Trips/Falls

• Central heating issues

• General repairs

• Fuel debt advice

• Signposting to health and wellbeing services

• Access to the Trusted Trader scheme (supported by North Tyneside Council)

This service is available Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (4:30pm on Friday).

We offer advice and information either in your own home, a location of your choice in the community or over the telephone.
