Grays Powers of Attorney provides an AWARD winning legal service specialising in preparing Lasting Power of Attorney deeds and wills.

Sarah Gray (currently a non-practising solicitor) provides an expert, professional, friendly service at a time and place to suit you - including evenings and weekends. Her expertise means that you can rest assured that you get the best advice at an afforadable price, with no hidden 'extras' to worry about. All advice is freely given and she is happy to discuss any of your concerns with you without any charge. This enables you to consider what you would like without feeling any obligation.

Getting a lasting power of attorney deed enables you to have a person or persons you trust to handle all of your affairs (financial and/or health and welfare) when you are most vulnerable. It prevents your assets being frozen or decisions regarding where you may live being made by a 'stranger', thereby enabling your family members to also have peace of mind at a very concerning time. Many people think they do not need to get a lasting power of attorney deed, however, none of us know what will happen in the future, and whether you will be subject to an accident, illness or injury which causes you to lose capacity.

If you obtain good advice and set up a LPA properly, you will have something in place which can be robust for future eventualities, which means that you can just go on living without worrying about what may happen to your finances/property/care/treatment/place where you live.

Advice is provided free of charge. Costs to engage Sarah to prepare and submit application to the court are £295.00 for one LPA, £475 for two LPAs, and special rates are given if more than 2 are being prepared at the same time ( e.g. £695.00 for 4 LPAs) If you prepare your own LPA, Sarah offers a 'Check and Advice' service where she will check that everything is done correctly to ensure the application is not rejected by the court, and the LPA will be robust for future use. The cost for this service is £95.00 per LPA (which includes a home visit).
