Helping Hands is a partnership between Phoenix detached youth project and Connexions, North Tyneside. The groups provide support to young people regarding their mental health and emotional well being and is for young people aged 12- 25 years from across North Tyneside. We currently run 5 groups which meet on a fortnightly basis. Young people need to be referred by a professional they are getting support from and this could include; CAMHS, Schools, Connexions, Family Partners, Social workers etc. Young people have also produced a leaflet for young people called 'Help Yourself' which lists a range of metal health support; apps, websites, chat, text and face to face. We have copies of this leaflet and a PDF version. For more information and a referral form please contact becky@pdyp.org
