Come and try archery with the Bowmen of Backworth.
Throughout the nicer parts of the year, we run several free events where you can try shooting a bow and arrow. Anyone can take part regardless of age or experience. We provide all necessary equipment and guidance, though you may wish to bring footwear suitable for a grassy field.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The events in 2024 are on the following Saturdays between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM:

May 4th
June 1st
July 6th
August 3rd
September 7th
Booking is not required. Just come to Backworth Hall between those times and follow the signs to our archery range.
