Volunteer with Age UK North Tyneside: Telephone Befriender

Make a new friend through our telephone befriending program. You will call a lovely customer on a weekly basis, have a chat & build a friendship.

Commitment: Varies, usually one or two calls per week from 15 minutes to one hour.
Location: Across North Tyneside, calls made from your own home or you can also come to Age UK North Tyneside Head office at The Bradbury Centre, North Shields to make your calls.
